At Chelsea Primary School we are looking at securing funding for an upgrade of our sporting facilities.

Our idea is to repurpose our school oval and basketball court into a purpose-built sports field. We aim to transform this oval and basketball court into modern sports facilities, with a four-lane running track.

The multipurpose facilities will be suitable for AFL, Soccer, Rugby, Athletics, and active play, PE lessons and interschool sport.  A long jump pit and the resurfacing of our schools' basketball court (synthetic turf) with hopscotch and four square space will be part of the redevelopment.

A decision will be made in May 2021 school year regarding this fundings outcome.
