Under the Placement Policy, schools are required to prioritise enrolment for students living in the school zone. This has not changed, and the Department always seeks to ensure the policy is applied consistently across the state. Information regarding school zones can be found on the below website: HTTP://www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au/The department provides guidance through the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.
