Remote Learning Plan
Please click on your child’s year level link outlined on the Learning From Home Resources. There you will find the plans mapped out for Term 1 - Week 9. As a school we are aiming to establish daily routines and expectations to limit the likely impacts on student learning and growth during this period. The following information relates directly to the remote learning for week 9 of the first term. This is an example of what remote learning will look like for our students if school closures continue throughout term 2.
Staff have been working tirelessly to create learning opportunities for all our students. This will help to support learning continuity for all students at Chelsea PS. Our sets of learning tasks will be updated regularly, and teachers will be working to make sure they still offer structured lessons throughout this time. We are looking at making this happen by streaming live videos, and uploading pre-prepared teaching videos throughout the week. Students texts will be sent home as part of the ongoing learning; spelling mastery 3-6, new waves mental maths 1-6 and handwriting text P-6 will be available to use. Teachers will inform you of how students go about working through these books; level teams will run videos to model the teaching for each book/ and lesson.
Home learning remotely can be accessed via https://www.chelseapsvicedu.sponsored2.com/page/273/Learning-From-Home-Resources by clicking on each year level link. Families can contact teachers through class dojo for feedback and information. We will continue to update this webpage with ideas and support.
